Spyhre created IZON’s Total Course Technology application using wifi and cellular data to synchronize scores, messages and yardage in real time. The system uses a nightly sync process to download bandwidth heavy content to the local device to speed up delivery of the content while in use by the golfer. This unique push technology which ran independently for each device allows the application to be showcase latest content and promotions.

IZON GOLF GPS was designed to provide the most powerful tools ever created in an in-cart GPS system providing a superior experience for golfers. With an essential set of course management tools for operators, course staff can keep a pulse on course activity in real time, identifying backups before they become bigger problems. Course Management features include geofencing for flood control, real time pace of play, cart and walker history, direct clubhouse to golfer communications and on-demand reporting.

The IZON cat tablet takes the golfer’s experience to new levels. A 10-inch ultra-bright display is mounted conveniently on the driver’s side of the cart on the upright support, providing detailed aerial, fairway and green course graphics with accurate dynamic yardages. Features include shot planning, look-ahead feature, side games, tournament integration, scorecard and a custom companion mobile app for cart path only holes and walkers.

Spyhre not only developed the leading on-course GPS system for IZON, it also created a proprietary private media platform and ad server that connects highly valued premium consumers with advertisers in a very targeted manner. With REACH, course operators have access to real placement of ad space allocated to them while advertisers can select courses, purchase available spots and place their own ads directly through the REACH portal.
